HOUSEHOLD GARDENS- INSTALLATION OF WATER TANKS 2500ℓ THAT INCLUDE GUTTERS, LABOUR AND TRANSPORT FORSARON , PAARL AND WELLINGTON AREA

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

The works/goods, as described is part of Department Agriculture Western Cape Farmers and Development Support program for the Saron, Paarl and Wellington area.

Competent contractors with sufficient experience and knowledge of installation of water tanks and gutters are invited to quote for the work in the different areas. The installation must be done for different households. The contractor must provide a quote for labour and transport. Material will be supply by Casidra. No deposits will be paid up front. Payments will be done for the work that has been completed. Contractors must supply their own tools and transport.

The scope of works will include:

Install new gutters and downpipes on each house to the maximum 12m;

Install the down pipes vertically against the wall of the house with bends;

Gutter Brackets every 700mm;

Stop ends on both sides of the gutters;

Put up fascia boards;

Levelling of surface before building the cement slab 2m x 2m with 400mm in high;

Connect tanks to the gutters;

Connect taps to the tanks;

Install four (4) 15mm hock bolts in cement slab;

Anchor the tanks to the slabs with 4mm wire.

In accordance with Casidra’s Preferential Procurement Policy, BEE certified bids will receive preferential scores.

Bid Deadline: The closing date for the bid is 10 August 2018 strictly at 12h00.

The following documents (fully completed and sign CBD forms as supplied) must be submitted as a bid packet:

1.   PPP Evaluation Form (Form CBD 5.1 (80/20)

2.   Bank Entity Form (Form CBD 7), unless the banking details of the company indicate “verified” on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).

3.  Registration on the CSD for all suppliers is compulsory and registration numbers must be supplied

4.   Suppliers must be Tax compliant.

All bids above R30 000 will be subjected to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and regulations, whereby B-BBEE certified service providers will receive a preferential score.
