Tesselaarsdal, a dispersed rural settlement in the Theewaterskloof Municipality, houses approximately 2000 residents, excluding those on surrounding farms. Located on the northern side of the Kleinrivier Mountains, it is situated 20 kilometres south of Caledon in the Western Cape. In 2016, Casidra launched a R20 million disaster management project to address erosion in Tesselaarsdal.
