PEBBLES PROJECT

Team Casidra put their hands together by raising funds to support the Pebbles Project as part of its 90 minutes for Nelson Mandela’s 2020 birthday celebration despite the Covid-19 pandemic. Casidra staff members donated education packs so that children at the Pebbles Project ECD centres do not have to share classroom resources. Each pack also included a mask, wet wipes and hand sanitizer. The Pebbles Project extended a word of gratitude to everyone for making donations towards Mandela Day 2020. “Nothing is impossible. It always seems impossible until it is done”, Nelson Mandela.

SPRING FOUNDATION – LENTEGEUR MARKET GARDEN

Casidra and the Western Cape Department of Agriculture continue to support the Spring Foundation – Lentegeur Market Garden in Mitchell’s Plain. During Mandela Day, a team from the WCDoA visited this 5-star food garden to spend their 90 minutes removing weeds and assist with harvesting.
