Casidra shone at the 2014 National Productivity Awards Finalists Ceremony held at Emperor’s Palace in Johannesburg where it received an award as first runner-up for its outstanding achievement in productivity improvement in the “public sector category”. Casidra went up against four other institutions from various regions in the country.

This achievement followed after Casidra received a Gold Award in the Public Sector category during the Western Cape Productivity Awards Finalist ceremony held at the Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town on 9 September 2014.

The National Productivity Awards ceremony has been held since the late 1970s and the selection of finalists follows a stringent adjudication process. The National Productivity Awards’ finals follows the Regional Productivity Awards held countrywide. Since the inception of the awards, Productivitysa has awarded prizes to more than a 100 companies from the private and public sectors, and Casidra is very proud of this historical accolade during our25 years of excellence celebration.

Casidra’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Brinkhuis, is extremely impressed with the company’s achievement and said, “It is evident that Casidra excels at what it does in terms of its overall productivity performance. We should continue to explore and engage in these type of activities on a regular basis”.

Thembi Mlonyeni, Chief Development Officer (CDO), attended the award ceremony in Johannesburg where she received the first runner-up award on behalf of Casidra. “This was an exciting and gratifying moment to be called onto the stage to receive a productivity performance award. I am extremely privileged and am definitely looking forward to the following year’s awards”, she concluded.
