Casidra collaborates with Stellenbosch University on areas of mutual interest

Casidra and Stellenbosch University’s Water Institute (SUWI) have reached a joined intent to collaborate on areas of mutual interest. The two parties will work together and bring about a spirit of healthy, professional and collegial co-operation to facilitate the successful implementation of agricultural capacity building initiatives, which include, but are not limited to smallholder emerging farmers, marginalised communities (people with disabilities, women and youth).

SUWI is located within the Faculty of Natural Sciences and facilitates multi- and trans-disciplinary research as well as training and development related to climate smart agriculture. Casidra always seeks ways to form collaborations that facilitate local resource mobilisation and action that encourage local participation and advocacy for development efforts, and foster co-operation among local role-players.
